Programmatic Accreditation Disclosure

Effective February 20, 2024, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has directed Herzing University located in Atlanta, Georgia to disclose to enrolled and prospective students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program that it is under a show-cause directive for failure to submit licensure pass rates for the calendar year 2022 greater than 80%. Importantly, the baccalaureate degree program was awarded a ten-year grant of accreditation by CCNE through fall 2029, which remains in effect during the show cause directive period. Herzing University Atlanta has already resolved the lack of compliance with CCNE standards, having achieved a 90% pass rate for 2023 calendar year. Due to the delay between the CCNE review of the 2022 pass rates and their confirmation of the achievement of 2023 compliant pass rates, Herzing University Atlanta is required to comply with this directive, which we expect to be resolved by CCNE by April 30, 2024.

Please note, the 2023 licensure pass rate for the Herzing University – Atlanta location is 90%. Herzing University has surpassed the licensure pass rate required for compliance in the 2023 calendar year.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Herzing University Atlanta is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
