Graduates from Herzing’s APRN Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner programs can choose to take their board certification exam through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Graduates from the Adult Gerontology Acute Care program can choose to take their board certification exam through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
Doctor of Nursing Practice Program – APRN
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Program APRN tracks will graduate their first cohort (date). Therefore, the first cohort of graduates is expected to take their respective certification exam in 2026.
